Terms and License

1. Agreement

By installing or using Micman (the "Software"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't install or use the Software.

2. License

Free version. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the free version of the Software on any number of Macs that you own or control.

Pro. When you buy a Pro license, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive license to activate Pro features on up to 3 Macs that you own or use. A Pro license includes all updates in the 1.x version series. A future major version (2.0 or later) may be offered as a separate or discounted upgrade; your 1.x license will keep working either way.

The Software is licensed, not sold. We keep all rights not expressly granted to you.

3. What you may not do

• Share, publish, resell or otherwise distribute your license key.
• Remove, disable or work around the license check.
• Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the Software, except where applicable law expressly permits it.
• Redistribute modified copies of the Software.

4. Moving your license

You can move a Pro activation to another Mac at any time by deactivating it in the Software's settings on the old Mac and activating it on the new one. If you no longer have access to the old Mac, email us and we will release the activation.

5. Purchases and taxes

Pro licenses are sold through Lemon Squeezy, our reseller and merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy processes your payment and collects any applicable sales tax or VAT. Its terms also apply to the purchase itself.

6. Refund policy

If you're not happy with Micman Pro for any reason, email support@wenworks.app within 14 days of purchase with your order number or the email address you used, and we will issue a full refund. Refunds are paid to the original payment method through Lemon Squeezy and usually appear within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank. When a refund is issued, the license key is deactivated.

This policy does not limit any additional rights you have under the consumer laws of your country.

7. Updates

The Software can check for and install updates using the Sparkle framework, as described in the Privacy Policy. Updates may add, change or improve features.

8. No warranty

The Software is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the extent permitted by law. Micman changes system audio input settings; we can't guarantee it will behave correctly with every device, driver or app. Please test your setup before an important call or recording.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data, profits or recordings, arising from your use of the Software. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the Software.

10. Termination

This license ends automatically if you break these terms. When it ends, you must stop using the Software and delete your copies.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version that applies is the one in effect when you purchased or, for later updates, when you choose to install them. We will update the date at the top of this page when anything changes.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION], without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
